Profile – Dr Rupali Bhalla Mathur
I am Dr. Rupali Bhalla Mathur (Asst. Professor, Mata Sundri College, Delhi University). I earned an honours degree in my bachelors and went on to do my masters in Modern Indian History. After the completion of my PhD in history on the topic of ‘Urbanization’, I proceeded to teach as an assistant professor in various colleges.
Since then, I have taught a large range of papers including Modern Indian History. Modern European History, Cultural Trends in Early Modern Europe, 20th Century World History, Modern Chinese History, Environmental History, Gender History, Urbanization and History of Law.
Furthermore, I have presented and published several papers in national and international conferences and journals. Besides this, I have contributed to numerous books. I have also worked on research projects globally. Recently, I worked on a special project by the Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR) titled ‘Modern India: Politics and Demography’ for which I was awarded a certificate of appreciation.
Indus Research is a prestigious think-tank of outstanding professionals with the finest knowledge of their subjects. Having worked hard relentlessly over more than twenty years, I feel that I can contribute to this organization as I’m willing to do the best I can within my capabilities to contribute to the field of history.
Hi 🙂 My dream retirement would be living in Udaipur, India! I have been to the city and enjoy the individuals and Indian culture. I’d be thrilled to be able to see this film which takes place in the top place in the world! 🙂
