She is currently serving there as a HOD and Sr Professor of Indian History at Amity University. She serves on the editorial board of many referred and indexed international and national journals and has authored many books . She has been felicitated with numerous awards and honours such as Gold Medals for her MA and M Phil degrees in Ancient History , President Award by the President of India for being an outstanding Educator and Scholar , Distinguished Woman Educator and Scholar Award and Women Achiever Award.

Prof (Dr) Veenus Jain is a renound historian who commenced her career with the Galaxy Education System Rajkot. She was the Principal, Human Resources Manager and Director (Education), of Global Indian International School, Gandhidham (Gujarat). She later joined as Group Director, Shri Ram Group of Colleges ,M Nagar and joined Amity University as Junior Vice-President and established the department of History at Amity University.
