Recording  – NEW FRONTIERS OF INDO-US COLLABORATION IN TRADE TECHNOLOGY AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE   – President IIRF Americas, India Advisor World Trade Centre , Utah, USA addresses Indian Industry, MSMEs & Start Ups

The above  talk is a Curtain Raiser for the IIRF Aerospace and Defence Technology Conclave scheduled to take place in Bangalore on 03rd March , 2024 for the Indian industries, MSMEs and Startups. Mr Guru, who will be leading more than a dozen US based big business and MSMEs under the aegis of World Trade Centre Utah, looking for collaboration and business opportunity in India, will be also talking about the newly created Indo-US Industrial Corridor in Utah to facilitate collaboration of Indian and US industry partners.

See how Mr Guru Sowle , President IIRF is working hard as India Advisor to World Trade Centre Utah , to create an Indo-US Industrial Corridor to forge collaboration of Indian companies with Utah based US companies and even assisting Indian Companies to setup shops in high-tech Defense sector in Utah. Mr Guru in this video explains how State of Utah Government is on an overdrive to make Utah the next Silicon valley in America thus opening up an ocean of opportunities for Indian MSMEs, Startups to go global with their ideas, products and enterprise.

Mr. Guruprasad Sowle, is the Founder Member & Director (Indo – US Affairs) IIRF India  and President IIRF Americas

Guru is a Corporate Growth leader, Speaker, Anchor, and Finance professional. He is a Chartered Accountant by background and has held leadership positions in BIG4, consulting companies, including PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen. Guru has been a C-level executive helping the corporate world with Tangible Growth strategies for over 25 years. He has worked across the globe and has consulted hundreds of companies, both large and small, in his career. He has also mentored several start-ups and specializes in advising companies seeking presence in the United States. He has helped several companies, both in the USA and overseas, to prepare them to raise capital and is also managing a portfolio in the Wealth Management domain. Guru has actively been involved in key initiatives in building stronger ties between India and America.

He was recently appointed as the India advisor to World Trade Centre , Utah.

Guru’s career track spans a comprehensive path from Finance, Process, Technology, and Investment Banking to being an Entrepreneur and a Financial Advisor. He has founded technology companies, taken exits, and founded an investment advisory firm preparing companies for Listing in US Capital Markets. He is licensed and registered with FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).

Guru is on the board of several organizations including, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI, Dallas Chapter),

His passion includes public speaking, talk shows, media, and acting; he conducts regular webinars on topics of Economic interest and US Capital Markets.

Former General Officer Commanding In Chief, Indian Army, And Present President, Information Security Council Of India

Lt Gen Arun Kumar Sahni is a decorated, scholar – soldier, with 40 years of commissioned service in the Indian Army. In his last assignment, attaining the second highest rank of the army, he was the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of one of the six operational commands of the Indian Army. He was the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of one of the six operational commands of the Indian Army.

His experience encompasses command and staff assignments, in India’s most inhospitable and conflict affected areas to battle external and internal security challenges. During his four decades of service, he has assumed many roles and duties. In addition to his Command assignments of leading military formations, his important staff appointments include ‘Chief Operations Officer’ of an Infantry Brigade in Sri Lanka as part of Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF), Colonel General Staff responsible for operations of a Counter Insurgency Force in Jammu & Kashmir, ‘Principal Staff officer’ at Army Headquarters, Delhi, and ‘Director General Information Technology’. He has been an Instructor at various Military Institutions within the country to impart basic & specialized training, not only to own officers, but also those from friendly foreign countries.

He has a record of being a high achiever throughout his career, starting with the ‘Sword of Honor’ and President’s Gold medal on commissioning to the Army, in 1976. Among several awards for his exceptional leadership skills and courage, he has been decorated with the second highest medal for peace time gallantry, the Uttam Yudh Seva Medal, by the President of India. On Republic Day in 2016, he was conferred the coveted Param Vishist Seva Medal, by the President of India, for sustained meritorious service.

Lt. Gen. Sahni has represented India as a military delegate, at UN Headquarters at Geneva for the international conference debating banning of land mines. He trained with the British Army for a year and represented the country as a military diplomat for three years at the Embassy of India, Moscow, Russia. Presently, he is mentoring start-ups/ new initiatives that are in the domain of Information Security and HR Management. An active speaker at seminars and various think tanks within the country, with specific reference to National Security Issues – External and Internal, International and Regional dynamics impacting India, Issues related to Cyber, Force Multipliers and surveillance, Nuances of Counter Terrorist Operations in the North East and J&K, Dynamics of Integration of North Eastern States, Strategic and Visionary Leadership skills/ nuances and Impact of Tactical Nuclear Weapons on South Asian Deterrence Dynamics.
