Just Two days ago, CHINESE ARMY tried to create problems in Galwan area of Ladakh.

Indian Army gave a befitting reply to China.

It became possible to do so, because  our strength and ability to Respond has improved substantially.

Thank recommendations of SHEKATKAR COMMITTEE ON DEFENCE MODERNISATION which the Government of India took Seriously.

Improvement of border roads, communications, and  staying power of India as a consequence are in a much better position then it was in the past. Though a lot still needs to be done but we are much better off today.

Media recently took note of the contribution of SHEKATKAR COMMITTEE REPORT and  attributed its recommendations for the improvements nation has today.

IIRF is proud of its Senior Advisor Lt. Gen. (Dr.) D.B. Shekatkar,  PVSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd.) and his contribution to nation building.
