Lt Gen Harinder Singh

Lt Gen Harinder Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, SM was commissioned into the Maratha Light Infantry.

He is formerly the Director General of Military Operations & Comdt Indian Military Academy. Lt Gen H Singh, commanded the Leh Corps during the Eastern Ladakh Crisis in 2020. He commanded Kupwara division during the surgical strikes. He commanded a Rashtriya Rifles battalion during the peak of Kashmir militancy in North Kashmir.

As a Military Diplomat Lt Gen H Singh, led the UN Multi-National Brigade in Eastern Congo during the M-23 rebellion.

He is an alumnus of prestigious military institutions such as the Defence Services Staff College, Army War College, and National Defence College, he has been a research fellow at MP-IDSA (India), RSIS (Singapore), and APCSS (Hawaii, USA).
