Also, security of the people is more important that protecting desolate, useless land boundaries. But there are many questions which pop up on the view that China is intent on suppressing or harming India. If that were true, why did China invite India to join the BRI which no less than the UN has stated has massive economic benefits to all countries. Over 100 countries of the world have joined it. If China truly wanted to humiliate or harm India, why did they not use the opportunity in early 2020 in collusion with Pakistan? If we wish to understand future threats from China, should we not fully understand why China advanced in 2020? Are they really interested in thin slices of desolate land? And why did it happen so soon after the two heads met in Mahabalipuram?
