Do you know that till a little after our Independence Hindus used only the Panchang and the Hindu Calender for all our cultural and religious ceremonies including references to our birthdays and marriage ceremonies? But we have forgotten them all gradually as we began adopting the Gregorian calendar. This has disconnected is from our way of keeping track of things.It is time that try and learn our traditional system which was more scientifically.
